Some people interpret the war mentioned in Ezekiel 39 as a war going to happen before the Rapture of the Church. But I don't believe so. Let me show what Ez 39 means,

Ezekiel 39 

Battle in Armegeddon  (At Second Coming of our Lord Jesus Christ)

1,2 - Gog (coming down to Israel - waging war)

4 - "I will give thee unto the ravenous birds of every sort"

6 - Fire coming down directly from God - "And I will send a fire on Magog"

9,10 - Israel shall burn the weapons, both shields and bucklers, the bows and the arrowsm and the handstaves, and the spears

17-19 - God calling the fowls of air & beasts to eat flesh and drink blood

Eze 39:21,22  

21. And I will set my glory among the heathen, and all the heathen shall see my judgment that I have executed, and my hand that I have laid upon them. 

22. So the house of Israel shall know that I am the LORD their God from that day and forward. 

23. And the heathen shall know that the house of Israel went into captivity for their iniquity: (Past tense: Jacob's trouble = 7 Years) because they trespassed against me, therefore hid I my face from them, and gave them into the hand of their enemies: so fell they all by the sword. 

Fulfilled:

Rom 11:26  And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:

Ezekiel 38 (At the end of Millenial)

6 - Coming down to Israel - waging war

15 - Northern parts (Gog) - a great company and a mighty Army 

16 - As a cloud to cover the land (A great company of people)

22 - An overflowing rain, & great hailstones, Fire and Brimstone 

Eze 38:11  And thou shalt say, I will go up to the land of unwalled villages; I will go to them that are at rest, that dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates, 

[It's again a proof,  It is at the end of Millenial]

- Isarael (at Rest) shall dwell safly in her Land in 1000 Year Millenial -

Gog, "I will go to them that are at rest"

- "Israel dwelling without walls,  and having neither bars nor gates" - As it is Millenial, God is reigning physically on Earth -  Isreal need no border security as it have today 

Fulfilment:

Revelation 20

8 - Gog & Magog , The number of whom is as the sand of the sea - (Ezekiel 38:16)

9 - "Compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city" - Israel - "Fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them." -

Did you see how exactly the Prophecies written over 592-570 BC (Ezekiel) fulfil at Apocalyptic Event [Second Coming (Armageden), End of Millenium] ? 

And it shall come to pass. 

"And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire."

(Revelation 20:15)

Are your name written in the Book of Life? This is a serious decision you ever made for your eternity. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ who came into the world, died on the cross paying the penalty of all your sin that you ever comit, buried and resurrected on the third day according to the Scripture (1 Cor 15:1-4). 

Believe (and repeat this Prayer with your wholeheart):

Sorrowfuly tell God Your a Sinner & trust Jesus-Christ's shedding of Blood on the cross paying for your sins and was buried and resurrected on the third day. 

Now you are saved. Your name has been written with a permanent marker in the Book of life. Your destiny is in Heaven (a Mansion).

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly

A few weeks ago, I visited a couple who attend our church’s English classes. After the usual small talk, I asked if I could read from the Bible. Something amazing happened! The father called the whole family into the room. Before I started, he went to the bookshelf and pulled their Bibles off the shelf. Not one Bible. Five Bibles. One for each person in the family. Dog-eared Bibles. Wrinkled. Used often. It gets even better! I said, “Let’s open up to the book of Jeremiah.” Do you know what happened? They knew where Jeremiah was! We opened up God’s Word and read together. It was amazing!

I say “amazing,” because as pastor, it’s rare to find a family—any family—that uses God’s Word in their homes. Does yours? To see this family and their well-worn Bibles made me think of this verse: "Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord" (Colossians 3:16). “Let the word of Christ dwell in your richly…” Isn’t that a great goal for our families? I pray that Jesus and his Word dwell richly in your family and in your house. That you know right where your Bibles are. That you can even find Jeremiah. May God’s Word dwell richly in you! You and your family will be blessed.

Ye must be born of Water and the Spirit

Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. John 3:5

The Bible is well and clear that by grace we were saved through faith in Jesus Christ (Lamb who was slaughtered). It is not from works so that no one can boast. If so, what does it mean to be born of Water? Does it mean baptismal regeneration? Of course not. Here is the proof,

Water cleans the body. Christ doesn't mean outward purification (the Baptism of John). Faith in Jesus Christ, presented in the scripture, actively saves the soul. The blood of Christ cleanses us from all sins. So is all those who believed in the Son of God are made perfect.

Eph 5:25-27
25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; 26 That he might sanctify and 👉 cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, 27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.

James 1:18
Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.

1 Peter 1:23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

John 15:3 Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.

God enlightens all who come to the true light, Jesus Christ. Once we heard the word of truth and believed in the LORD JESUS Christ, we were sealed with the Holy Spirit. Because we first trusted in Christ.

MEET THE MORMONS

The Mormon movement began with "the prophet" Joseph Smith, Jr. in the year 1820. Joe (as he was known) was born to some rather strange parents in 1805. His mother, Lucy, was involved in occult practices and visions, while his father, Joseph, Sr., consumed much time with imaginary treasure digging (including the booty of Captain Kidd).

 

According to Mormon writings (Pearl of Great Price, Joseph Smith - History 1:1-25), on a day in 1820, Joe was praying in the woods when he received a vision from God the Father and Jesus. It was revealed to Joe that the church was in apostasy and he was the chosen one to launch a new dispensation.

 

Being unwilling to drop his current occupation of money-digging with his father (while using "peep stones" and "divining rods"), Joe put his "calling" on hold for three years. Then, according to his own account (Pearl of Great Price, Joseph Smith - History 1:29-54), he was paid a bedside visit by the angel Moroni in 1823. Moroni, who professed to be the glorified son of a man named Mormon (who had been dead 1400 years), told Joe about a book of golden plates which contained "the fulness of the everlasting Gospel." This book was said to have been buried at Cumorah Hill, near Palmyra, New York, some 1400 years earlier by the man named Mormon. Four years later (1827), Joe supposedly dug up the golden plates along with a gigantic pair of spectacles which he called "the Urim and Thummim." The spectacles were for translating the hieroglyphics on the plates. With the help of his only legal wife and a friend named Oliver Cowdery, Joe translated the plates and published the Book of Mormon in 1830. Later that same year, Joe, his wife, his brothers (Hyrum and Samuel), and Cowdery established the "Church of Jesus Christ," which is known today as the "Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints."

 

The Book of Mormon contains many plagerisms of the King James English (at least 25,000 words). This is strange since the plates were supposed to have been in the ground many centuries before the King James Bible was completed in 1611! The Book of Mormon also contains many errors such as claims of elephants in the Western Hemisphere and advanced metal producing capabilities in America before 400 A.D. (See Walter Martin’s Kingdom of the Cults for a fine study in the errors of the Mormon Bible)

 

The Mormons, under Smith’s command, turned out to be a rough bunch. Joe was a polygamist with at least twenty-seven wives (some say over 60 wives). The whole gang left New York for Ohio, and then moved to Missouri. The Missouri governor ran them out of the state, so they settled in Nauvoo, Illinois, and built the state’s largest city. In 1844, Joe and Hyrum were thrown in jail. Then an angry mob stormed the jail and murdered them both. Naturally, this "martyrdom" insured the perpetual reverence of the great "prophet" Joseph Smith.

 

The "church" then split. The Smith family headed for Independence, Missouri and started what is now the "Recognized Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints." However, the majority of Smith’s followers chose Brigham Young as their new captain.

 

To escape U.S. laws, Young led the Mormons from Nauvoo to Salt Lake City in 1847 (which then belonged to Mexico). For the next thirty years, Young and his "saints" laid the foundation stones of the Mormon cult.

 

Little known to most Mormons, Young was a rather rough and ruthless character. In 1857, he commanded Bishop John D. Lee to murder a wagon train of over one hundred helpless non-Mormon immigrants. Twenty years later Lee was convicted and executed by the U.S. Government. Young escaped punishment, and his role in the Mountain Meadows Massacre has escaped the Mormon history books.

 

Young spent most of his "ministry" dodging the law to continue the immoral practice of polygamy. At the time of his death in 1877, Young had seventeen wives and fifty-six children.

 

Today the Mormon church is administrated by its "General Authorities." These authorities consist of the "First Presidency," the "Counsel of Twelve Apostles," the "First Quorum of the Seventy" and its presidency, the "Presiding Bishoprick," and the "Patriarch of the Church."

 

Male Mormons over twelve years of age are divided into priesthoods. The Aaronic order is the lesser priesthood, and the Melchizedek order is the higher.

 

The church is divided into thousands of "wards" and "stakes," with over 2000 branches and hundreds of missions, and over 14,000,000 members. Mormons are very missionary-minded people, with over 40,000 active missionaries. However, much of this missionary army consists of young men and women in their early twenties who MUST serve two years in missionary work while supporting themselves.

 

The Mormon people of today are highly respected in our society, but there is nothing respectable about their doctrines. Their principle heresies are annihilation, baptismal regeneration, deity of man, multiple authorities, polytheism, works salvation, and they deny a literal burning hell, the blood atonement of Christ, the Trinity, the deity of Christ and the physical resurrection of Christ. The Mormons are a first class cult. Stay away from them.

WARRIOR FOR JESUS CHRIST

I'VE BEEN TOLD THAT AS CHRISTIANS, WE ARE TO BE WARRIORS!  BUT JUST WHAT ENTAILS BEING A FAITHFUL WARRIOR FOR JESUS CHRIST?

At the SAME time AS A WARRIOR FOR THE GOSPEL, we also need to be a dedicated follower of our Leader, the LORD Jesus Christ!

I'll bet that for the thousand year reign of Jesus on earth (the millenium) that Christians will be somehow involved in government, as we're Daniel, Hananiah, Michel, and Azariah, those found faithful to the point of death (burning fiery furnace, signifying that hell or its gates will ever touch the believer)!

Believers are secure in Christ!

When King Nebuchadnezzar looked at God's three faithful servants who had thrown into the burning fiery furnace, he noticed a fourth One not thrown into the furnace.  (Daniel chapter 3 entire chapter!) 

Nebuchadnezzar remarked in Daniel 3:24-25 "Then Nebuchadnezzar the king was astonied, and rose up in haste, and spake, and said unto his counsellors, Did not we cast three men bound into the midst of the fire? They answered and said unto the king, True, O king. 25. He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God."

This example clearly shows that Jesus will never leave us nor forsake us, once we come to him!

(Hebrews 13:5.)

But the real issue here is...do YOU PERSONALLY know JESUS, THE SAVIOUR, and are YOU willing to SERVE Him with your life?

In order to serve your Creator, you must understand that you are a sinner in God's eyes!

AND death is the result of our sin!

Romans 6:23  "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."

Those who admit their sin to God, and believe that Jesus paid the full price for their sin at the cross, was buried, but after three days He arose from the dead, according to the scriptures, WILL be saved from their sins!  This is called the gospel, 

(1 Corinthians 15:1-4.)  This is what saves a person!  Believe that you're a sinner (as God says) and that Jesus died paying for YOUR sins.  

When you receive him as Saviour,  God Almighty sees you as a person with your soul fully cleansed of sin and acceptable to enter heaven, being clothed with JESUS righteousness! 

But just ONE sin will keep you forever out of heaven because God will not allow one sin to enter His heaven as He is so Holy, He cannot look upon sin or have it ever enter into His heaven!

Repent of your sin, ask God to forgive you, and believe the gospel (quoted above) and finish your life living in the joy and assurance that you personally know the Creator of the Universe as your Friend and Saviour!

He's MY Best Friend!  

Despite my several serious issues with my health, I desire to serve Him with every fiber of my being, AND BECAUSE HE DIED FOR ME AND LIVES IN ME I will give Him what I have left to serve!

Jesus has been the thread that has held my life together, despite my problems.  

God is SO good!

Come to Jesus today and have no worry about your eternity!  Become a Warrior for Him as you serve Him by faith!
